This is the first post for the Teachers as Artists blog. For those of you who don't know about Teachers as Artists, here's a little info:Teachers as Artists is a competitive local fellowship program that awards up to eight $5,000 fellowships to arts educators working in the Boston Public Schools. Through this program, outstanding arts educators explore their individual artistic goals and dreams, while connecting with new practices and resources in their disciplines; in an effort to enhance the arts in the Boston Public Schools.
