Ms. Kathleen Marsh, Visual Arts Dept. Chair and teacher, at Boston Arts Academy was recently named a Surdna Arts Teachers Fellow, 2008. For her Fellowship, she traveled to Ghana with her family to study various forms of art making. You can read all about her experience on her blog:

A little background info-Surdna Arts Teachers Fellowship Program is a national Fellowship program for arts teachers working in arts focused schools. Whereas, TAA is a local expansion program of the Surdna Foundation for arts educators working in the BPS in non-arts focused schools.
